California

So I just spent an amazing week in California. Elise and I had a fun 9 hour drive from Orem to Sacramento. We got pulled over in SLC, but I can't remember if we got a ticket or not....We ate delish snacks and enjoyed the lovely dirt/mountain scenery. Knowing me, you know I can't go on an adventure without writing a rap about it, or for the event. So Elise and I spent a good hour writing a killer rap for GG's 90th bday. We had a blast writing it and reminiscing in the good times, you know, all 300 years we have spent with her. The rap turned out to be a big hit after we recorded it in Devin (Trip-D's) "studio".

For Easter all of our family got together for family pictures, an easter egg hunt, games, and to celebrate GG's 90th bday. It was her wish to have 90 red balloons let go into the sky.

Along with a fun Easter, I had a fun daddy daughter day with Mike. We did the usual, crush children's dreams by winning all the tickets at Wheel Of Fortune. Once a tear is shed, we give the tickets away to kids. Then we take it slow and only few 200-500 tickets, we can't leave empty handed. We left with 16 fireballs, a giant comb, and some delicious sour straws. We also went to the mall and Mike got a Raiders hat. Then it was girl time, which equals PEDICURES. I lost my big toe nails a few years ago to some gnarly ingrown toe nails. So you can imagine, pedicures aren't my favorite. It's hard to go some where and ask someone to touch, massage, and paint a foot that has two down syndrome looking nubs. But being pregnant, the foot massage and leg rub was heavenly.

Although it was so nice to spend time with family and friends, the high light of my week was my baby shower. Aubry and my mommy spent so much time and effort into my shower. It was so cute, fun, and such a blessing to share my pregnancy with my family. I am so thankful for all the gifts I got for my baby girl Madison. Thanks to everyone she is going to be a healthy, happy, cute little girl.

Thanks again for the amazing baby shower and all the cute gifts. It means the world to Frank, Madison, and I. When I got home I saw that Frank had erased my message and wrote on our "LOVE NOTES" white board. He is so cute, I know he will be an amazing father. We are both so excited to have Madison in our lives.
A NOTE FROM DADDY

The only way to end a great week, is to top it off by something AMAZING. What might that be...? Megan introduced me to a life changing meal at McDonalds. It's life changing because one, it taste delicious, two, it gives you killer heart burn, and three, it's the fastest way to a go up a pant size. This greatness is called the McGang Bang...I didn't know why until I felt like my heart was being gang banged. You take a McDouble, split it in half, and put a whole McChicken in the middle. YUMS. I'll admit this whole gang bang thing only lasted 2 weeks, now I'm trying to go healthier. lol. So what I'm saying is, I just eat them separate. jk.

Basically I had a blast in California. I am happy to be home though, I missed my cute husband very much. Unfortunately with school from 8:30-5:00, then work from 6-10pm five nights a week, Frank and I only have two hours a night together, give or take. Now, I apparently sound like a chain saw at night. I snore and have a hard time breathing, considering I have a person attached to me, so Frank sleeps on the couch. I hate sleeping alone, but really it's a win win. He gets a good nights rest and I get the bed to myself.
Other then a very busy schedule, life is good. Frank has officially applied for Grad school at BYU.  We are just waiting now to see if he gets in, fingers crossed!

Madison Noelle Chou

So in case you still don't know, IT'S A GIRL. My baby Madison Noelle Chou. I know I am only 20 weeks along, but I am dangerously curious as to what she will look like. Frank is half Italian and half Chinese, and well I'm just obviously very white. So I like to think about what Maddie will look and act like. What I want and what I think she will turn out like, are two very different things. I want her to have tan skin, blue eyes, long black hair, and long eye lashes. Realistically I'm thinking she will have tan skin, brown eyes, black hair, but more american features. I feel like I was a good kid, and Frank claims to have been the perfect child. I just hope she isn't rambunctious, a thief, an air head, or anything else like me. If anything she gets my fabulous looks, my rapping skills, my sense of humor, and my ability to have fun in any situation. I plan on locking her in her room until she is 25 and can get married. I want to roll over and die, thinking about all the trouble she could get in. I think we can all agree on the fact that she needs her daddy's brain, because the pea size one that she has now, is what I'm still stuck with. Either way, I will love her with all my heart. She is just the world to me and I will use everything in my pea size brain to make sure she has a great life.
With all that said, I went all creepy and googled asian/white babies to pretend what she will look like. Here is what I'm thinking.
This is "my" precious newborn Madison.
This is Madison having tummy time!!
This is Madison at about 3-4 years old.
This is Madison at about 15 years old. She's pretty because she is still locked up in her room and that's all she has to do.

This last picture makes my heart ache. I already want her to be a kid forever. But oh my goodness look at how cute she could be as a baby! Don't worry, these pictures are cute and fun to pretend, but no matter how she looks I will adore her. But let's get real, I am her mother.
Speaking of, I dyed my hair black and I LOVE it.

I'll be posting about my cali trip soon, just gathering baby shower pics. Until then "Stay classy san diego"

17 Weeks

This is my view looking down. No more toes!

These pictures are sick, I'm way too big already. I have only gained 5 pounds though, I keep on gaining weight, then losing it within a week or two. I eat more food than is served at thanksgiving dinner. Frank has to go grocery shopping once a week now because he will buy 4 boxes of hot pockets and I eat two boxes a day. I don't eat the healthiest because I need things I can microwave or refrigerate at school, but doc says I'm healthy and the baby is healthy.
Lately my belly button has been very tender. It hurts to roll over in bed or move side to side. I was worried until I read a blog on Google confirming that this is very normal for pregnant women. It's tender because the muscles are moving around since baby is pushing her way towards my belly.
I can't wait to come home this Sunday! It will be so nice to see the family and spend time with everyone. I am bringing two of my friends from school from Sunday-Wednesday because I am hooking up one of them with Devin. Cross your fingers things go well, they would be so cute together! Her name is Acacia, she is 19, long blonde hair, blue eyes, a professional make-up artist, and very sweet. But every one hates her because she is 5'8 and has that model like body, she is a knock out. Good for her I guess... ;)
These are my 3 besties at school, Acacia, Emily and Aubrie.  Acacia and Emily are coming to Cali with me while Aubrie spends the week at home working for her daddy.  (this pic was taken on the day of the make-up class's big photo shoot, Emily was the model.)

That's about it for now. I have 1,100 hours in school now! This saturday I am doing hair at a Bridal Fair, it should be fun.
Recent Retarded Moments:
1. So I made mac & cheese for like the first time in years. I thought it was super easy until I got mac & cheese soup. Turns out I read the 1 and the 2% milk part, thinking it said 1/2 cup of milk when it only needs 1/4 cup milk....big difference. Plus I got so hungry I forgot to add the butter. It's fine though, I still ate the whole box.
2. Later that night, Frank complained about all the gas i've had lately and my mom suggested I should try cutting out dairy. They both laughed when I asked if that meant I had to give up Top Ramen.
3. I just thought that maybe there was dairy in the sauce packet or in the noodles. I Don't Know! Frank, laughing the whole time, informed me that there wasn't dairy in Top Ramen and I could still eat it. I just asked because it was an honest concern of mine because I don't want to give it up. Here is kinda how it went down:
Frank- "Why did you think noodles had dairy in them?"
Me- "Idk, I know noodles don't grow on a tree but like idk where they come from"

Frank- "A NOODLE TREE??"
Me- "Idk babe, just freakin' tell me"
Frank- "Noodles are made from wheat, which grows from the ground."
Me- "So I was close with the tree thing...So wait, you have to MAKE noodles?"
Frank- "YES!"
Me- "Well I just thought they grew that way. I am so glad I don't have to make home made noodles."

I later on found out that a lot of people in Italy, or just fancy restaurants still make their own noodles. Totally crazy. Can we all just agree that I REALLY lucked out when I married my smart husband?? I learn something new at least twice a day. This is the life!
